Our founder, Shweta, believes in restorative sleep. Suffering from long COVID since 2021, a regular schedule of restorative sleep has been one of the few things that helps her feel balanced and energized.

So, we're really serious about sleep. We believe that sleep can make or break your day and your dreams. There's nothing you can't accomplish after a good night's rest.

Meet the founder

My husband, Alex, and I moved back to Dubai in 2021, after spending 5+ years working for Amazon in their European Headquarters. When we started furnishing our new home, we quickly realised how frustrating and expensive it was to find good, high quality sheets here that wouldn't break the bank.

I thought our needs were quite simple: high-quality, simple to wash, easy on the environment, affordable and beautiful. Reasonable enough, right? Either we were shocked at the price or underwhelmed by the quality. When we asked our friends, a majority of them got their sheets from different countries when they traveled.

So I built MIDORI as a solution to end this frustration: to bring well-made, well-priced bedding directly to your doorstep.
